JNC offers a custom resin development service for optimization of current products to meet stringent or enhanced performance working directly with large and small customers. In addition, JNC also offers custom resin development services to support new applications of JNC resins.
This affinity resin delivers high dynamic adsorption capacity at high flow rates with low back pressure. The resin is based on an optimized small diameter particle with an open porous structure making it ideal for large scale antibody capture applications.
Cellufine SPA-HC is a highly porous cellulose resin small diameter-based bead coupled with an alkali resistant rProtein A ligand. This resin achieves high Ab dynamic adsorption capacity by control of its smaller particle diameter. At high flow rates it delivers low back pressure due to a unique base bead cross-linking technology and is ideal for use in large scale antibody capture applications. This resin is very stable to base CIP up to 0.5M and exhibits very low non specific binding due to its cellulose base bead struture.
Unique affinity ligands which are developed by JNC are immobilized on spherical cellulose resin.
Cellufine Sulfate is an affinity chromatography media to purify virus and heparin binding protein like factor 9. The resin is used by vaccine manufacturer to purify virus like Influenza virus, Rabies virus, Japanese encephalitis virus, West Nile fever virus, AAV, HIV. The virus are bond with natural pH and elute high salt concentration. So, virus will be maintained its activity after purification.
Cellufine MAX DexS is a new chromatography resin incorporating Dextran sulfate polymer surface modification. This non-animal derived pseudo affinity ligand can be used instead of immobilized Heparin for blood protein fractionation and viral capture. DexS-HbP developed for purification of heparin binding proteins. DexS-VirS, for purifying virus and virus like particles especially having affinity for heparin.
Cellufine ET clean is poly (ε-lysine) immobilized affinity chromatography media. The beads bind and remove endotoxin from protein sample solution or sterilized water. Cellufine ET clean have two bland, ET clean S which has small pore size and ET clean L which has large pore size entering proteins.
Cellufine Phosphate is a resin that has affinity activity for nucleic acid-binding proteins such as DNA-binding protein and RNA-binding protein. Phosphate ester groups are immobilized on spherical cellulose particles. Cellufine Phosphate can be used to purify RNA polymerases such as T7 RNA polymerase which is used in the production of mRNA vaccines.
Formyl group on cellulose matrix allow preparing specific affinity ligands.
To assure maximum ligand accessibility, formyl groups are attached to the cellulose matrix by hydrophilic spacers.
Cellufine MAX hydrophobic interaction chromatography is a 2nd generation Cellufine media with high flow characteristics. JNC developed a new, highly cross-linked base resin for Cellufine MAX series. Cellufine MAX hydrophobic interaction chromatography is now available with MAX Phenyl and Butyl chemistries.
Cellufine Phenyl EX is a chromatography resin that can efficiently remove aggregates of antibody drugs using our unique ligand modification technology. When the antibody sample after protein A chromatography in the first step is passed through Cellufine phenyl EX, the antibody aggregates are captured to the column, but most of the antibody monomers are recovered as they are in the flow-through fraction. Cellufine Phenyl EX can be used for flow-through purification that selectively adsorbs such as aggregates.
The ligand concentration has been optimized to optimize the purification of capsular polysaccharide. Pneumococcal vaccine can be purified to high purity by performing two-step purification with Cellufine MAX Q-hv.
IEX-Cellufine is a chromatography media made from the cross-linked and spherical cellulose. Each type offers excellent flow, mechanical resistance. Virtually no shrinkage and swelling is recorded under change of pH or ionic strength. Media can be autoclaved, easily regenerated and depyrogenated.
Cellufine A series contains Di-Ethyl-Amino-Ethyl groups covalently bound to basic cellulose matrix. DEAE Cellufine is available with three different pore sizes(30,500 & 1000 kD) to optimize adsorption capacity based on stokes diameter of target molecule.
Cellufine C-500 contains Carboxy-Methyl groups covalently bound to basic cellulose matrix. Ezclusion limit of Cellufine C-500 is 500 kD.
Cellufine Q-500 contains Quaternary Amino(trimethyl-amino-ethyl) groups covalently bound to basic cellulose matrix.Ezclusion limit of Cellufine Q-500 is 500 kD.
Cellufine MAX Ion Exchange Chromatography is a next-generation ion exchange chromatography resin that achieves both high dynamic binding capacity and high flow velocity using a highly crosslinked and surface-modified base resin.
The ligand concentration has been optimized to optimize the purification of capsular polysaccharide. Pneumococcal vaccine can be purified to high purity by performing two-step purification with Cellufine MAX Butyl HS.
Cellufine Gel Filtration(Size Exclusion) media offers high flow rate and resolution in laboratory and industrial bio-molecules purification. Cellufine GCL-2000 and Cellufine GCL-2000HF has a protein exclusion limit 3'000 kD. Cellufine GH-25 was optimized for rapid bio-molecules desalting and buffer exchange. its exclusion size(3 kD) allows run the separation process up to apparent velocity of 2000 cm/h with target molecule loading up to 35 % of media volume.
Cellufine GCL-2000 HF is a gel filtration, or size exclusion chromatography media. It features simple and effective purification method for proteins and other biomolecules. The mechanical strength of Cellufine GCL-2000 HF allows high flow rates, even in large industrial columns of bio medicine manufacturers.
Cellufine GH-25 desalting media is based on porous, spherical, highly crosslinked cellulose particles. The sharp 3kD exclusion limit allows proteins to pass through the column in the void volume while retarding smaller molecular weight solutes in the internal pores. Outstanding mechanical strength allows operation at high flow rates even in large diameter process scale columns, thus minimizing lead times.
Mini-Columns are packed with differevt type of Cellufine.
Media volume is 1 ml.
They are mainly used for an initial media screening and protocol pre-optimization in discovery and preclinical applications.
