Alkoxysilyl terminated type-Imparts High durability

• Properties that can be imparted: Water repellency, stain resistance, slip resistance, abrasion resistance, durability
• Possible applications : Coating agents, surface treatment agents, anti-stain coatings, release agents, etc.
• Features: This developmental Silaplane™ offers excellent durability due to its high-molecular-weight design. It imparts high water repellency and stain resistance to substrate surfaces, and these effects are maintained even after friction. It is expected to be used as a PFAS-alternative surface modification material.

Acrylic terminated type-Imparts High compatibility

• Properties that can be imparted: High compatibility, UV curability, thermosetting properties, water repellency, stain resistance
• Possible applications: UV-curable coatings, UV-curable adhesives, light-curable materials and polymers, etc.
• Features: This developmental Silaplane™ is a reactive silicone oligomer with acrylic end groups that exhibits both UV-curing and heat-curing properties. Because it also includes hydrophilic groups, it is highly compatible with various radical-reactive monomers and organic solvents, and can be used as a component in light-curable resin compositions.
