Life Chemicals

Life chemical products are used in a wide range of fields, including biopharmaceuticals, food, toiletries, cosmetics, microorganism inspection, and human diagnosis. In biopharmaceuticals, Cellufine products are used for purification and separation in manufacturing recombinant pharmaceuticals, vaccines and the like, and we have a lineup of products according to each application. Moreover, polylysine is sold as a preservative in food, and its antibacterial function is used to extend the shelf life of the food. On the other hand, we also focus on applications other than food, such as toiletries and cosmetics. With regard to microorganism inspection, sheet-type inspection kits "MC-Media Pad" formed of media ingredients and non-woven fabric are available, which are used in a wide range of fields in addition to food inspection because preparation before the inspection is unnecessary and anyone can easily conduct the inspection. Moreover, we have developed a kit for detecting Trichophyton (cause of athlete's foot) in 5 minutes, which has acquired pharmaceutical approval and is currently preparing for launch.
As you can see, we provide life chemical products for use in our daily lives.

  • Polylysine (Natural food preservative)
  • CELLUFINE (Chromatography Media)

Synthetic Resins

JNC Corporation has developed the polypropylene business at the forefront of the Japanese synthetic resin industry as a leading company in the business, starting with the completion of polypropylene production facilities at Goi Factory in Ichihara, Chiba in 1963. In 1987, the company completed the first plant in Japan with the horizontal gas-phase process. In order to further enhance our international competitiveness, the polypropylene business has been operated, since October 2003, by Japan Polypropylene Corporation, a joint venture between JNC and Japan Polychem Corporation (wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation), and the business of high density polyethylene has been operated, since August 1997, by Keiyo Polyethylene Co., Ltd., a sales joint venture between JNC and Maruzen Petrochemical Co., Ltd.
