JNC is a pioneer who started the world’s first commercial production of a polyolefin-based thermo-bondable bi-component fiber known as “ES FIBER.” The through-air nonwoven fabric “EsSoft” using “ES FIBER” as materials has features of high bulkiness and soft texture, and is used in a wide range of products essential to daily living, such as disposable diapers, sanitary goods, filters, and so forth. Our production and sales bases are located in Europe and America, China, Thailand and Japan for the bi-component fiber, and in China, Thailand and Japan for the through-air nonwoven fabric, and we are developing business on a global scale. Our company is currently working on enhancing and expanding our business domain, while globally expanding our existing business. We have started production and sales of “ELfino” using the melt-blown method and started sample introduction of the nanofiber product “Elfa” to search for markets and applications for utilizing our company’s technology.

Life chemical products are used in a wide range of fields, including biopharmaceuticals, food, toiletries, cosmetics, microorganism inspection, and human diagnosis. In biopharmaceuticals, Cellufine products are used for purification and separation in manufacturing recombinant pharmaceuticals, vaccines and the like, and we have a lineup of products according to each application. Moreover, polylysine is sold as a preservative in food, and its antibacterial function is used to extend the shelf life of the food. On the other hand, we also focus on applications other than food, such as toiletries and cosmetics. With regard to microorganism inspection, sheet-type inspection kits "MC-Media Pad" formed of media ingredients and non-woven fabric are available, which are used in a wide range of fields in addition to food inspection because preparation before the inspection is unnecessary and anyone can easily conduct the inspection. Moreover, we have developed a kit for detecting Trichophyton (cause of athlete's foot) in 5 minutes, which has acquired pharmaceutical approval and is currently preparing for launch.
