Sila-Ace™
(Silane Coupling Agents)

JNC’s Sila-Ace™ products are proprietary silane coupling agents designed to bond organic resins to inorganic materials such as metals, glasses and various fillers.

Characteristics of Sila-Ace™

  • Improves chemical bonding of inorganic materials to organic materials
  • Improves adhesion properties of many systems including paints, adhesives, sealants and coatings
  • Suitable for a range of inorganic fillers (silica, alumina) or surfaces such as concrete, glass (clothes, fibers, and yarns) and a multitude of inorganics
  • Suitable for a range of polymers and resins including thermosets (epoxy, phenol, polyimide), elastomers (urethane) and thermoplastics (ABS, polycarbonate, polystyrene)
