Moriyama Factory will produce melt-blown nonwoven fabric with a virus-collecting function necessary for masks by redesigning the existing facility producing melt-blown nonwoven fabric in order to meet the rapidly increasing demand for raw materials for mask production. Ichihara Factory will newly introduce nonwoven fabric mask-manufacturing facility to produce such masks using melt-blown nonwoven fabric produced at Moriyama Factory. JNC Corporation will procure all raw materials necessary for nonwoven fabric masks from domestic sources, thereby contributing to the stable supply of high-quality nonwoven fabric masks. Such masks will be sold by the Fibers & Fabrics Division of JNC Corporation.

JNC Corporation has accumulated fiber and fabric technologies over many years since succeeding in commercializing thermo-bondable bi-component fiber for the first time in the world. With its composite fiber technology receiving worldwide acclaim, the company is selling composite fibers based on its technology across the world through ES FiberVisions Inc. , a joint venture with FiberVisions Corporation of the United States. We will endeavor to provide high-performance, high-value-added products, maximizing the use of composite fiber technology for nonwoven fabric masks manufactured by the JNC Group as well.
