Increase in Prices of Oxo Derivatives Shipped on and after January 21st

JNC CORPORATION (head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO & President: Keizo Yamada) will increase the prices of oxo derivatives.

The reference price of domestic naphtha, which is the raw material of oxo derivatives, shows a strong upward trend due to the rise in crude oil prices, and is projected to exceed 47 thousand Yen/kL in the first quarter (January-March) in 2020. Moreover, the costs for distribution, utilities and auxiliary materials also have already risen, and we are in a situation where the rise in the costs cannot be compensated solely by the efforts of our Company. We are obliged to revise our prices in order to fulfill our obligation of providing a stable supply of products to customers in Japan, and will increase the prices by 15 Yen/kg or more for shipments on and after January 21st.We will continue our sincere efforts in order to gain full understanding of our customers.
