Mannitol salt agar
  1. 1) For 200 ml of purified water
    →Dissolve 2.2g of medium.
  2. 2) Sterilize　the medium with high pressure steam at 121 ℃ for 15 minutes and pour into a petri dish.
 Detection of Staphylococcus 37℃ / 36 to 48 hours

Mannitol salt agar

Sterile egg yolk emulsion
  1. 1) Dissolve 111g of medium in 900ml purified water.
  2. 2) The medium is autoclaved at 121 ° C for 15 minutes and then cooled to 50 ° C.
  3. 3) After 100 ml of egg yolk solution (20 g of one egg plus 80 ml of sterile saline) is added to the medium, a 10% mannitol salt medium is obtained.
 Detection of Staphylococcus 35℃ / 48 hours
