Product Line|MC-Media Pad for Microbial Testing

  • ACplus|For dual-use of rapid and normal mode for general viable bacteria

ACplus (R-AC)|Aerobic Count Rapid & Standard

It develops as a red colony. (The indicator turns red by the respiration of microorganisms.) It is a product that can be used in both the normal mode for 48 hours and the rapid mode for 24 hours due to the nutrient components for the microorganisms and the unique redox indicator originally developed.

  • CC|For coliforms

    CC|Coliform

It develops as a blue to blue-green colony. (The β-galactosidase produced by coliforms causes the indicator to develop blue to blue-green.) It is a product that has improved “For Coliforms” (old type) that are sold in parallel, has realized better culture performance and color development, and has reduced the coloring effect of enzymes.

  • SA (For Staphylococcus aureus)

    SA | Staphylococcus aureus

It develops as a blue to light blue colony. In rare cases, some bacteria may develop color, but even if they develop, they form a black to gray colony.

  • EC|For E. coli and coliforms

    EC|E. coli / coliform

It develops as a cyan colony for E. coli and as a blue to blue-green colony for coliforms other than E. coli. Counting a blue to blue-green and/or indigo colonies gives the number of coliform group, and counting only blue colonies gives the number of coliform. It is a product that has been improved in parallel sales “for E. coli/Coliforms” (old type) to achieve better culture performance and color development, and to reduce the effect of enzyme coloring.

  • YM|For fungus (mold / yeast)

    YM|Yeast & Mold

Count all red colonies, regardless of color intensity. Yeast form a round and red colonies, and mold form a red colonies that are spread out and have a poorly defined periphery. In the case of mold, the red color of the clonies may overlap with the spore-specific color (such as black or blue).

  • Salmonella|サルモネラ用

    Salmonella

All light blue is measured as a salmonella. Light blue colonies with a little red or purple colonies are not Salmonella.

  • 一般生菌用

    Aerobic count

“For aerobic bacteria”, it develops as a red colony.
