MicroVal is a certification which is received by a kit evaluated by the high-level protocol regarding validation of the alternative method employed for microbiological analysis of foods and animal feeding stuffs specified by ISO16140, and is the international certification comparable to AOAC, OMA, AFNOR and NordVal.
The MicroVal certified kit may be used worldwide as the alternative method for the ISO method, and also as the alternative method for the standard test method in Japan, as a third-party certified test method specified by the Exploratory Committee on the Methods for Microbiological Examination of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
