JNC CORPORATION (CEO & President: Yasuyuki Gotoh, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has contributed 2,500,000 USD to NanoGraf Corporation (formerly SiNode Systems, Inc., CEO: Samir Mayekar, Legal location: Delaware, USA), a partner of joint development of anode material additives.

JNC Group promotes research and development of anode material additives for the next generation of lithium-ion batteries, and has been working on joint development with the US venture company NanoGraf Corporation since the 2015 fiscal year. By collaborating the technologies of both companies, we have gained an outlook on satisfying our customers' needs, and have decided to make the contribution.
The anode material additive being developed by both companies uses the composite technology of an innovative layer structure of silicon and graphene. This enables the next generation of lithium-ion batteries to have higher capacity and a longer cycle life resulting from less deterioration of the capacity caused by repeated charging and discharging, and allows the batteries to be used for a longer period of time from one-time charge and have a longer cycle life.
Our Company will supply excellent members for the next generation of lithium-ion batteries whose market is expected to expand, and also actively work on further improvement in stable quality.
